Why do I need Kinesiology?

Kinesiology helps to restore health by balancing the body physically, mentally and emotionally.

So physically it can help with aches and pains. By circuit locating muscles which are reactive. A reactive muscle is a muscle behaving too strong (bully) while other muscles are switched off and not doing their job at all. When this situation is reversed it restores normal muscle tone. Trigger points also can be helped as well by targeting specific lympatic flow assisting knots to be released usually without the pain of deep tissue massage.

Mentaly, Kinesiology can help with anxiety, addictions, depression, obsessions and phobias.

On an emotionally level Kinesiology can help devellop self confidence, goal setting, strong relationships, self empowerment, creativity,  or improve work, sports, or school performance.

The mind body connection is amazing and you can start feeling empowereded by seeking out what information your body has to share with you.

About Me

My name is Amanda Spargo I am a Remedial Massage Therapist, Kinesiologist, and Artist working from my gorgeous home in Lithgow on the outskirts of the beautiful Blue Mountains.

I am Passionate about health, healing and creativeness in in all aspects of my business. Since 2005 when I qualified as a Remedial Massage Therapist I have been actively learning and discovering new ways to advance my healing skills. I am fascinated by the process of Kinesiloogy and believe there is so much more to health and living a healthy life that can not be accessed through any other means. I find Kinesiology a valuable tool to uncover the innate healing available to us.

This same wonder draws me into the world of art and colour. The main style I use in art is Expressionism and the media I use vary from Resin, Acrylic and Mosaic . I am drawn to vibrant colours and if I can make something shiny, glowing or transparent this adds extra interest to the piece.

My clinic is located 33 Fourth St, South Littleton it is surrounded by bush land and filled with beautiful art.

Today is International Women’s Day

As women taking control and learning to design a life where we naturally attract positive relationships, perceiving our own value and being true to our own wisdom.  Kinesiology can help to improve overall wellness, confidence and happiness today and every day.

Acting with self esteem in both our private and professional roles and not allowing fear to hold back from the life we want for ourselves.

Emotional Vs Physical Health

When considering emotional wellness it isn’t very different than physical health.

In kinesiology I use a 5 element emotion chart which finds it roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In TCM they have an emotion for each of the bodies organs for example the liver corresponds to the emotion anger and it’s said that too much built up anger can affect the healthy functioning of the liver. While it’s said that grief affects the lungs. Have you ever felt sick to the stomach with worry or weak at the knees, knees can represent pride and ego , the inability to bend and can often be linked with unbalanced kidney energy.

Emotions affect our thoughts, feeling and beliefs and Kinesiology borrows that idea from TCM and uses the emotion to get to the core of issues.
